ABOUT
The ADC continuously improves its services. The services are kept at a high level by continuously testing internal procedures for quality and by regularly conducting internal audits. Furthermore, external controls by internationally recognized institutions are also successfully completed.
As the guardian of public health in Curaçao, the ADC is alert to the appearance of diseases or developments that could endanger the health of the population. Based on proactive risk analyses, the ADC immediately informs the designated authorities when necessary. In this way. the ADC plays an important role in preventive care.

Because young people are the most important shapers of the future, this group receives extra attention from the ADC.
The ADC regularly organizes or supports activities that contribute to the development of young people. The annual BioSch Award, which encourages talents in secondary education to excel in the natural sciences, is an example of this.
